This full-time position is based in our Broome, WA office and will involve managing the day-to-day administrative tasks, as well as overseeing the contracts and compliance requirements for our dynamic and growing design and construction business.

About Us

Mint Design & Build is a registered building company that specializes in commercial construction projects.

We are a vibrant, fresh company that thrives on undertaking some of the most challenging and unique construction projects out there.

We have no levels of hierarchy and everyone in the company has equal value of importance.

If you enjoy being able to work to your own beat, congratulated in the decisions you make, wake up each day knowing that no workday is ever the same as the last, like being able to work autonomously with as much or as little support as you need, value the importance of good old fashioned values and customer service and want to have the freedom to create your own role description, then we certainly have got the position for you !.

About you (Skills and Experience)

  • Proven experience in an office management or contracts administration role, ideally within the construction or design industry.

  • You will have a demonstrated ability in being methodical and systems orientated (without losing your ability to be adaptable and welcoming to new ideas).

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and the wider team.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.

  • A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.

  • Tertiary qualifications in business administration, contracts management, or a related field would be highly regarded.

  • Experience in Xero accountancy software would be highly regarded.

  • You will have a current driver’s license and be eligible to work in Australia.

About you- Personality & Traits-

You have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and whilst oozing professional confidence, you’re not afraid to ask for help when swimming out of your depth.

You love the Kimberley region that we all call home and the amazing people and places that make this region truly spectacular.

You take comfort in knowing that the “right” way is sometimes a lot more painful than it needs to be, but a hell of a lot more satisfying than taking the easy route.

Hours of Work & Renumeration

We are offering a completely negotiable employment package for the suitable applicant and are open to both part time and full-time employment options with flexible working hours.

Please note that this role is a Broome based office position and working from home options are not applicable for this position.
