Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Ltd (KAMS) is the leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Established in 1986, KAMS advocates for Aboriginal health and well-being while providing centralised resources for its member services, governed by a dedicated Board of Directors comprised of Aboriginal health leaders.

Position OverviewThe Leadership Development Coordinator will be based in Broome on a Full-time basis. You will play a crucial role within the Workforce Team, focusing on the design, implementation, and evaluation of leadership and management development programs for KAMS and its member organisations. You will engage with leaders to identify their development needs and create tailored interventions that enhance leadership capabilities across the region, ensuring excellence in leadership is reflected in daily operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leadership development with a proven track record in designing and implementing related programs. You will have excellent communication and facilitation skills, enabling you to engage effectively at all organisational levels.
Preferably, candidates will hold qualifications in Human Resources or Organisational Development, and local Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants with established regional connections are encouraged to apply.
