About our Operation
Kimberley Mineral Sands Pty Ltd (KMS) is a 50/50 joint venture between Sheffield Resources Limited and YGH Australia Investment Pty Ltd (Yansteel). The Thunderbird Mineral Sands Operation (Thunderbird) is located mid-way between Derby and Broome, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Thunderbird is one of the largest and highest-grade zircon mineral sands deposits in the world and contains valuable heavy minerals including ilmenite, zircon and leucoxene, which are extracted and exported via the Port of Broome.

About the Role
Residing in the West Kimberley and reporting to the Supervisor Processing, this is an exciting opportunity for a Process Operator to join our growing mining company, responsible for the safe and effective day-to-day operation of the processing plant.
This role will be required to work within a team environment to achieve key production outputs through the operation of all areas of the processing plant including the Wet Concentrator Plant (WCP), Concentrator Upgrade Plant (CUP) and the Control Room.
Site Based Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off (Bus In Bus Out from Broome or Derby)
